For Manchurian Balls
  1. Cabbage - 2.5 Cups (Finely Chopped)
  2. Capsicum - 1/2 Cup (Finely Chopped)
  3. French Beans - 1/2 Cup (Finely Chopped)
  4. Cornflour - 3.5 tbsp.
  5. Maida - 1 tbsp.
  6. Green Chillies - 2 (Finely Chopped)
  7. Ginger - 1/2" (Finely Grated/Paste) (Optional)
  8. Black Pepper (Powder)
  9. Salt
  10. Oil
  11. Ajinomoto - 1 Pinch (Optional)
For Gravy
  1. Capsicum - 1 (Large) (Cut into Shreds)
  2. Green Chili - 2 (Slit and Cut)
  3. Soya Sauce - 2 tsp.
  4. Cornflour - 2 tbsp,
  5. Sugar - 1/4 tsp.
  6. Ginger - 1" (Finely Grated/Paste) (Optional)
  7. Black Pepper (Powder)
  8. Salt
  9. Oil - 2 tbsp.
  10. Ajinomoto - 2 Pinch (Optional)
  11. Vinegar - 1tsp. (Optional)
For Manchurian Balls
  1. Bring Water to a boil in a saucepan, agg the chopped vegetables to the same and cook for around 3 minutes by covering with a lid.
  2. Drain the vegetable stock (excess water) in a cup for later use. Once the boiled vegetables cool down, add Cornflour, Maida, Green Chilies, Ginger (Optional),Black Pepper (Powder), Salt and Ajinomoto (Optional) and mix well.
  3. Make small balls of this mixture and keep aside for frying. (Will make approximately 18-20 balls).
  4. Heat some oil and deep fry these Manchurian balls till golden brown.
For The Sauce
  1. Mix the cornflour in the vegetable stalk that was kept while making Manchurian Balls and keep aside. (It should be approximately 1 cup of water, if required add water to the same)
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté Capsicum and green chilies in the same along with ginger paste.
  3. Now add the cornflour water mix along with Soya Sauce, Ginger, Sugar, Balck Pepper and salt and cook for around 2-3 minutes stirring regularly.
  4. Add the Manchurian balls to the sauce, before serving and cook for around 2-4 minutes and serve hot.
For Manchurian Balls
  1. In case balls break while frying add 1 tbsp. of cornflour more to the mix and it would solve the problem.
For Sauce
  1. If you want a more liquid sauce add more water while cooking the same.
